Open-label, Multi-cohort, Phase 2 Trial, Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of SAR408701 in Patients With CEACAM5-positive Advanced Solid Tumors Scientific Title

Purpose
To study the safety, effects (good and bad) and anti-tumor activity of SAR408701, an anti-body drug conjugate (ADC).
Who is this for?
People with metastatic (stage IV) breast cancer that expresses a specific protein (CEACAM5). You must have received at least 1 and no more than 4 treatments for metastatic disease.    Full eligibility criteria

  • <ul class="seamTextUnorderedList"> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">SAR408701 is a type of drug called an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC).</li> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">This means it uses an antibody that targets cancer cells to deliver a chemotherapy directly to these cells.</li> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">SAR408701 targets a protein called CEACAM5 that is over-expressed on certain cancer cells.</li> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">Diphenhydramine is a common antihistamine given before treatment.</li></ul>
