CGT4255 for Advanced HER2+ Breast Cancer with or without ERBB2 Mutations

A Study of a Selective ERBB2 Inhibitor, CGT4255, in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors With ERBB2 Genetic Alterations or HER2 Overexpression

Purpose: To study the safety, effects (good and bad), and anti-cancer activity of CGT4255, an experimental targeted therapy.

Who is this for?: People with advanced (some stage III) or metastatic (stage IV) HER2 positive breast cancer or tests positive for a mutation in HER2 (ERRB2). View full eligibility criteria

<p class="seamTextPara"> You will receive the following: </p> <ul class="seamTextUnorderedList"> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">CGT4255, by mouth, daily</li></ul>

What's being studied?

<ul class="seamTextUnorderedList"> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">This study is testing a new targeted drug called CGT4255, which is designed to block ERBB2 (HER2) driven cancer growth.</li> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">In HER2 positive breast cancer, the ERBB2 gene is overactive, which causes the cancer cells to produce too much HER2 protein on their surface.</li> <li class="seamTextUnorderedListItem">This study also is enrolling patients with other types of tumors that have these mutations.</li></ul>
